TOPIC: PROVIDING SOLUTIONS BY GOD’S WISDOM
SCRIPTURE: And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is? And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art: GENESIS 41:38-39.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: You cannot carry solutions and be buried in problems.
Our anchor scripture reveals that the wisdom of God is what makes people provide solutions to problems, answers to questions and keys to demystifying the mysteries of life.
In Genesis chapter 41, we saw how Pharaoh dreamt a dream but had no interpretation for it. None of all the wise men of Egypt could interpret Pharaoh’s dream until they found a man named Joseph.
Now, Pharaoh’s dream was not just a dream but a revelation of a looming national challenge – seven consecutive years of severe famine. However, the seven years of famine were to be preceded by seven years of plenty harvest. That was a situation that called for an urgent and drastic solution. And in Genesis 41:33-40, we saw how Joseph offered the solution by the wisdom of God.
So, the wisdom of God can make you offer solutions to a family, community, city, territory, nation, and even to a whole generation. The wisdom of God equips a person with the capacity for solution and answer provision.
Now, what are the impacts of possessing solutions and answers to generational challenges.
1. Possessing solutions and answers to generational challenges brings about the termination of personal captivity. In Genesis 41:33-40, Joseph provided solution and by that solution, he came out of prison; the prison could not hold him because he had the answer.
Beloved, you cannot carry solutions and be buried in problems. You cannot have answers for your generation and be swallowed up by your own questions. To possess generational answers is to be free from personal questions; to possess solution is to escape challenges.
While solving problems for your nation, answering questions for your community and for the kingdom of God, you get your own questions answered.
2. Possessing solutions and answers to generational challenges establishes people in prosperity and authority.
Joseph moved from the prison to the palace, and from poverty to plenty by offering answers to the questions of Egypt. The drastic change in his life looked impossible, but it was possible on the frequency of providing answers.
Beloved, the wisdom of God can do all these for you and much more. Do all you can to access Divine wisdom so you can offer solutions and answers to the problems and questions of your generation.
Remember this: You cannot carry solutions and be buried in problems.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Live in the fear of God which is the beginning of wisdom.
2. Spend time with God at the place of prayer, worship and the study of the Word to connect with His wisdom.
3. Seize every opportunity you have to offer solutions and answers to the challenges and questions of your generation.
PRAYER: Lord, You are the Fountain of true wisdom. I make demands on Your Wisdom to walk in the realm of offering solutions to the problems of my generation, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
